Everything You Need To Know About Getting A Custom Printed Banner

Banners are an amazing tool for marketing and advertising. Banners are affordable and effective, and they are easy to hang and store.

Step 1: Size & Shape

When getting a banner the best place to start is with the size, you should figure out how much room you have which will let you know how big you’re allowed to go. Measuring the place it’s going; whether it be a wall, fence, pole, etc., will give you a place to start your design. It will also set the shape of the banner, it might need to be horizontal, vertical, or square.

Step 2: Design

Now that you know what size you need, the next step is getting the design laid out. Your design can include an endless amount of things; from logos, text, information, images, illustrations, shapes, colors, etc.

Step 3: Options

The way your banner needs to be finished can depend on a lot of factors. These factors can be things like location and the way it needs to be hung. Standard grommet finishing is done with 1” taped hems and grommets, banners are typically hung by using the grommets to attach it to a wall, fence, etc.

Banners can also be finished with pole pockets if the banner is going to be hung on a pole either on a post or from the ceiling.Hems can be reinforced by sewing them to add extra durability and increase life span.
Grommets can be reinforced to add durability and increase life span.
Wind slits/flaps can be added to reduce wind stress and increase life span.
