The Guide to Vinyl Lettering

Vinyl lettering is a staple of the digital print world, so we’re going to go over it so you know exactly why it’s so useful!

Vinyl lettering is perfect for types of surfaces

Vinyl lettering has a lot of different uses as well as a lot of options as far as material goes.

It can be made using vinyl film that has been full color printed, and/or single color vinyl films such as chromes, metallics, brushed, etc.

Vinyl lettering was around long before the digital print world. Because printing on vinyl wasn’t being used, people would make their graphics out of colored vinyls. These color vinyls would be cut into shapes, designs, and letters. This was used for buildings, windows, vehicles, etc.

Single colored vinyl lettering is still a very popular option, and can be done using a large variety of colored vinyls. These colored vinyls come in standard colors like black, white, blue, red, etc. as well as gold chrome, mirror chrome, brushed gold, brushed silver, brushed copper, brushed black, holographic rainbow, holographic mosaic, shadeshift colors, and much much much more.

After digital printing became popular, people continued to use vinyl lettering because of the simple and clean look. However, now this lettering can be full color, or multiple colors without having to use multiple vinyls.

We can full color custom print your logo and/or letters allowing you to have as many colors as you want.
