Vehicle Graphic Info:

Vehicle graphics are adhesive backed vinyl that has been printed; and cut to a shape or design, or wrapped onto a vehicle. Vehicle graphics can be cut to simple shapes (squares, rectangles, and circles) or complex designs.

Vinyl for vehicle graphics can be laminated with gloss, satin, or matte. Lamination not only changes the sheen, but it extends the life of the wall graphics by protecting against rubbing, scratching, scuffing, fading.

Vehicle Graphic Types:

Vehicle graphics can range from a logo and/or phone number, to a full or partial wrap. Depending on the size and location of your graphic, certain materials are much better than other. If your graphic is going on a compound curve or you are wanting a partial/full wrap we highly suggest going with the vehicle grade vinyls (3M SV480mC & 3M IJ180mC-10). If you are want graphics on a relatively flat part of a vehicle or want something small like a bumper sticker, it is completely fine to use a premium vinyl (3M IJ40 & 3M IJ35).

All of these vinyls can be cut into any shape or design.

Vehicle Graphic Uses:

Vehicle graphics are often used for promotions/sales, branding, and/or adding decoration or uniqueness to your vehicle.

Though vehicle graphics can be used for anything you want.

Materials for Vehicle Graphics:

We touched on the options for vehicle graphics above; mainly 3M SV480mC & 3M IJ180mC-10. Here's a more detailed break down of the materials that can be used:

For large graphics or partial/full wraps:

White

Vehicle Grade: 3M SV480mC (premium plus), 3M IJ180mC-10 (premium). These are the high-end, vehicle grade materials.

Color

Vehicle Grade: 3M 1080. This is a colored vinyl that comes in a variety of different colors including solid colors (blues, greens, reds, etc.), metallic colors, prismatic colors, chrome colors, etc.

For smaller graphics:

White

Premium: Orajet 3169 (removable), 3M IJ40 (removable), 3M IJ35 (permanent), Low Tack (removable plus), High Tack (permanent plus). These are materials for mid to short term applications.

Clear/Translucent

Optical Clear: 3M IJ8150. This is a high-end clear option, that when applied to glass or other clear surfaces doesn't show the clear parts of the vinyl like other options will.
Translucent: Arlon 6500. This is a partially clear, milky white vinyl that allows light to pass through while still being white enough to allow ink colors to show/pop.

Reflective

Reflective: 3M IJ5100. This is a vinyl that will shimmer and shine when exposed to light, usually used for street/construction stickers/signs, but also makes for a very unique sticker.

We also have a large selection of colored cut vinyl (ranging from standard colors like blue and red, to specialty colors like gold leaf and chrome) that can all be printed on, or cut out just using the one color.
