A-frame signs are an excellent choice for displaying signage in areas without existing mounting hardware. These free-standing frames are durable, portable, and capable of holding signs on both sides, making them ideal for storefronts, events, and promotions. Often called sidewalk signs, these are design to be place out in view of the public relaying all the information you are wanting to show off. Designed for stability, our A-frames can be filled with sand or water to withstand high winds. We stock frames in that hold 24” x 36” inserts and ones that hold 18” x 24” inserts, with additional sizes available through special order. Our deluxe quick-change frames allow you to update your signage quickly and easily without damaging the frame. Paired with full color custom printed inserts, typically made from corrugated plastic, these signs offer endless design possibilities to match your branding and messaging.

A-Frame Insert Materials

Corrugated Plastic

By far the most common material for A-frame inserts is corrugated plastic. It is light weight and cost-effective making it great for short to mid term signage.
ACM

ACM (Aluminum Composite Material) is another great material for A-frame inserts and is the best option for sleek, smooth, and heady duty signs. Built to last with an ultra-smooth surface perfect for close viewing.
Sintra

Sintra is a great comprise between corrugated plastic and ACM. With it’s surface being much smoother than corrugated plastic but not being as heavy duty as ACM, sintra is the perfect choice for high quality indoor sign inserts.

A-Frame Options

A-Frame Hardware

By far the most popular A-frame size is the one that holds a 24” x 36” insert. We have supplied many of those frames, but we have also supplied frames that hold 18” x 24” signs and 36” x 48” signs. The frames are also typically either white or black, but other colors are available by request.
Double Sided Inserts

While you can only see one side of the sign when it is installed into an A-frame stand, the quick change hardware allows for fast and easy changing of the insert itself. Which means that a double sided sign allows for easy changing back and forth without having to store other inserts.
